Marek Jin is a 4 Star recruit who plays Interior Offensive Line at Phillips Exeter Academy. Jin is ranked as the 324th best recruit in the class of 2026 and is ranked as a top 25 Interior Offensive Lineman in the class as well. In addition, Jin is listed as the #1 recruit in the state of New Hampshire. He currently holds offers from Duke, Virginia and Boston College.
Who are some role models in your life?
The role models in my life are my parents. Both are immigrants that came to America and worked for everything they got. My dad went to college for football and my mother learned English and had a full academic scholarship for college.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to rock and rap, so lots of Green Day, Bon Jovi, Chief Keef and Polo G.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths are my athleticism, explosion, hustle and fundamentals.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is getting a 4th down sack that gave us the win against a team that was supposed to beat us.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep your head down and work. Everything will work out when it’s supposed to.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I want to visit Australia to see the Great Barrier Reef.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 14 years old when I really started to play and love the game.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would meet JJ Watt.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
The Commanders beating the Eagles last year.
