Who are some role models in your life?
My parents and my coaches. Without their support and guidance, I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in today. They’ve helped shape me both on and off the field.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
Before games, I usually throw on Chief Keef or some underground artists like BabyTron and RMC Mike. That kind of energy gets me locked in.
What are the strengths of your game?
My biggest strengths are my size and the details—especially my technique. I take a lot of pride in the fundamentals. The little things are what separate good players from great ones.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Beating Horizon in the playoffs is a top memory—nobody expected us to win, and we proved them wrong. But the championship game against Higley stands out even more. That one motivates me every day.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay focused. Don’t let distractions like girls or partying get in your way. And above all, get your grades right—none of this works if your academics aren’t in order.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan. I really respect their culture and lifestyle. It’s different from the U.S. in a lot of ways that I admire.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 9 when I fell in love with football. My whole family has always been into sports. I actually started with basketball—like most tall kids—but football eventually became my true passion.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Watching Boston dominate the Mavericks in the championship.
