Charlie Hoitink is a 3 Star recruit who plays Offensive Guard at Slinger High School. Hoitink is ranked among the top 350 recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked as a top 20 Offensive Guard in the class as well. In addition, Hoitink is listed as the #4 recruit in the state of Wisconsin and is listed as the #1 Offensive Guard in the state of Wisconsin. Charlie Hoitink is committed to play at Stanford.

Who are some role models in your life?

My biggest role models are my older brother Ben and my parents. My brother was an All-Ivy offensive lineman for Penn and will play a grad year at Duke next year.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I really like a lot of 80’s rock so I mix it up with AC/ DC, Metallica, Motley Crue, Kiss, and others.

What are the strengths of your game?

I think my strengths are my power and aggressiveness.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory so far is our playoff win over nearby Germantown at home.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against is Joe Brunner, who is currently an offensive lineman at Wisconsin. As a freshman, I played center and was working against him at noseguard. The best player I’ve played with is Ashton Beers, an offensive lineman currently at Minnesota.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

The advice I would give an aspiring D1 athlete is to get good grades and never miss a lift or workout.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I’m looking forward to getting back out to Stanford again.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I started tackle football in 5th grade and have loved it from day one.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Joe Thomas.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

As a fan, my favorite sports moment was watching my older brother play at Penn for the first time a couple years ago.
