St. Thomas More’s Star Freshman Tight End: Adam Shovlin
Adam Shovlin is a 2025 recruit who plays Tight End at St. Thomas More. Shovlin is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Tight Ends in the class as well. In addition, Shovlin is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Connecticut and is listed among one of the top Tight Ends in the state of Connecticut. He currently holds offers from, Boston College, UCONN, and UMASS.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Once I found my position(s), I really started to envision my game after guys like Gronk and Kittle. As an edge, Myles Garrett and the Bosa’s were my biggest influences.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to rap songs, more styled towards storytelling or just pure hype up songs.
What is your offseason training like?
Offseason training is tough, we lift 4-5 days a week with additional field work/circuits/practices.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career so far has to be my old school’s upset against one of our rival teams. The energy and everything I had been doing felt surreal.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve ever played with would have to be our corner Chris Hudson.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
I was tearing up when I got my first offer, it really meant a lot to me.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is Steak
When did you realize you were talented at football?
After coming back from last offseason, I really started to believe in the potential and talent I had.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d love to meet Darren Waller.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite moment as a sports fan had to be when the Packers won the Super Bowl in 2011.
