Robert Long is a 3 Star recruit who plays Quarterback at St. Peters Prep. Long is ranked among the top 1000 recruits in the nation and is ranked as a top 60 Quarterback in the nation as well. In addition, Long is listed as a top 20 recruit in the state of New Jersey and is listed as the #2 Quarterback in the state of New Jersey. Robert Long is committed to play at Maryland next fall.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up, Colin Kaepernick inspired me.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I listen to a lot of Drake and In the air tonight by Phil Collins.
What is your offseason training like?
I train 3-4 times a week during the offseason with my QB coach.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is leading a comeback to win my freshman year and running the Philly Special in double OT to beat a team we lost to last year in OT.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against would be DJ Samuels from Bergen Catholic.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
My reaction was a happy reaction but also humbling
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is steak.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I realized I was talented when I began to receive recognition nationally at a young age through camps.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet LeBron James
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
As a fan, my favorite memory was watching my team (Philadelphia Eagles) win a Super Bowl while watching it with my father who is also a fan of the Eagles.
