St. John’s Star Freshman Cornerback: Hakim Satterwhite

Hakim Satterwhite is a 2026 recruit who plays Cornerback at St. John’s College High School. Satterwhite is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Cornerbacks in the class as well. In addition, Satterwhite is listed among one of the top recruits in D.C. and is listed among one of the top Cornerbacks in D.C. He holds offers from schools such as Penn State, West Virginia and Boston College.

Who are some role models in your life?

One of the biggest role models in my life is my grandma. She’s my rock and helps me with anything I need. She does so much for me and teaches me things all the time.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

For pregame, I’ll have a playlist that mainly consists of G Herbo.

What are the strengths of your game?

My strengths are my length, ball skills, jumping ability and speed.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career was playing with my seniors.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Work hard even when you’re tired. Discipline is key and it’s what separates you from everyone else.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Japan. I’ve always wanted to go there since I was young.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with the game of football when I was 14 years old.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet either Deion Sanders or Tom Brady.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan, was Kawhi’s game winner vs Philly in game 7. I remember watching it at home and going crazy, as I’ve been a Raptors fan all my life.
