St. John Bosco’s Star Freshman Defensive End: Dutch Horisk

Dutch Horisk is a 2026 recruit who plays Defensive End at St. John Bosco High School. Horisk is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Horisk is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed among one of the top Defensive Ends in the state of California. He currently holds offers from Louisville and Arizona.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Definitely Nick Bosa growing up

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to a lot of Rio and Lil Baby before games.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason usually consists of a lot of lifting, speed training, position work, and mobility training.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

Definitely the first game of our 14U season, having 4 sacks, 5 TFL, and a strip sack to save the game.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

I got a lot, but probably my boy Jr Mateni. He’s a safety who’s an incoming freshman at Bishop Amat.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was very happy but stayed humbled and went right back to work as if I had none.

What is your favorite food?

My mom’s cream of chicken and rice

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I really realized in 7th grade

Nick Bosa

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Definitely as a Seahawks fan, the 2015 comeback against the Packers to go to the Super Bowl.
