James Carrington is a 2026 recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at St. Frances Academy. Carrington is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Carrington is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Maryland and is listed among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the state of Maryland. He holds offers from schools such as Alabama, Georgia and Notre Dame.

Who are some role models in your life?

My dad is definitely the biggest role model in my life, he’s raised me practically single handedly so I try to be like him.

Some of the biggest strengths of my game are my speed and strength.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was playing a game in Hawaii last year.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Sam Greene was definitely the best player l’ve ever played with, I learned a lot from him.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Never give up and keep working for your dreams.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I’ve always wanted to go to Paris to try new foods.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I really fell in love with the game when I was around 4 playing flag football.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Aaron Donald, I like his play style and I think if I met him I would learn a lot from him.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment was attending my first NFL game with my dad.
