St. France Academy’s Star Sophomore Edge Rusher: Dylan Williams

Dylan Williams is a 2029 recruit who plays Defensive End at St. Frances Academy. Williams is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2029 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Williams is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Maryland and is listed among one of the top Defensive Ends in the state of Maryland. He holds offers from schools such as Georgia, LSU and USC.

Who are some role models in your life?
I would say my coaches are a really big impact and role models for me because they can relate, and they have been through the whole high school and college process.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
NBA YoungBoy, Future, and No Savage.

What are the strengths of your game?
I’m fast for my size. I feel like a lot of people my size can’t move like me or turn that switch on when it’s wartime.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory was when I scored my first touchdown when I was 8 years old in my first football game ever.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Work harder than everybody else, and stay true to yourself. You vs. you every day.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Dubai because it seems like a peaceful place to be and have fun.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 7 years old when I fell in love with the game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would meet LeBron James. He just has a different type of passion for his sport. That’s why people call him the GOAT.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was OBJ’s one-handed catch. He changed football forever.
