Clayton Amaya is a 2024 recruit who plays Kicker at Smithson Valley High School. Amaya is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among one of the top Kickers in the class as well. In addition, Amaya is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Kickers in the state of Texas. He currently holds an offer from Texas Southern.

My greatest role model in life is my dad.

I would say my greatest strength is staying focused when it matters most.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
In 8th grade when I kicked the game winner to beat our rivals.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best person I’ve ever played with is my friend and teammate, Colton Thomason who not only has amazing talent but also demonstrates good leadership.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Never let someone that’s better than you get to your head.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would want to travel to Ireland.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I would say I fell in love with the game in 8th grade.
