Carter Bonner is a 2027 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Shady Side Academy. Bonner is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Bonner is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Pennsylvania and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Pennsylvania. He currently holds offers from Penn State, Pitt and UNLV.
Who are some role models in your life?
One of my role models is my mother. She is a very hardworking, ambitious, and brave woman that has raised me and showed me how to become a young man.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to NBA YoungBoy and Drake to get me hyped up.
What are the strengths of your game?
One of my biggest strengths is my ability to make big plays on 3rd or 4th down.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career was my first interception against North Catholic.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is Kemon Spell.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep your head down and train.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, it would be to Florida.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game when I was 6 years old.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would love to meet Ja’Marr Chase, he’s one of my favorite receivers in the NFL.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan, was when Georgia beat Ohio State last year.
