Jordan Slye Jr is a 3 Star recruit who plays Cornerback at Salesian High School. Who are some role models in your life?
My dad and mom, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. They all push me to be the best version of myself.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I like to listen to old school R&B like Bobby Brown, Guy, New Edition, and Johnny Gill.

What are the strengths of your game?
My length is my biggest strength. I can jam and disrupt the timing of the wide receiver and quarterback.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
Last year when I got my first career pick. I baited the quarterback and worked. Best feeling!

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I ever played with is Ayden Ramirez. He was a senior last year. He was clutch and always stepped up for us.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t! Just keep working on getting better every day! Don’t be afraid to fail!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Hawaii — I heard it’s super chill out there.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
Probably at 6 years old. I could hit someone and not get in trouble! Sign me up.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I already met him — Deommodore Lenoir! He went to Salesian and I get to wear his number.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When the New England Patriots came back in the Super Bowl to beat the Falcons. Taught me NOT to ever give up!
