Who are some role models in your life?
A main role model in my life is my dad. He’s always been there to guide me and set an example for how to handle life and the game.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
My go-to pregame artist is EBK Jaaybo. His music gets me locked in and ready to compete.
What are the strengths of your game?
I feel like I have a lot of strengths, but my biggest one is my ability to stop the run, always be around the ball, and make plays consistently.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory so far is getting my first offer from Nevada after a strong performance at their camp. That moment showed me the work is paying off.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Focus on yourself and your grind. Don’t get caught up in what others are doing or what they have. I believe if God wants it to happen, He’ll make it happen—so just run your own race.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere, I’d choose Turks and Caicos. The beaches and scenery look amazing.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve been playing since I was 4, but I truly fell in love with football when I was 12. That’s when I knew this was what I wanted to do.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Odell Beckham Jr. He’s the reason I started watching football and got into the game in the first place. Meeting him would be full circle.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Definitely watching Odell’s insane one-handed catch against the Cowboys.
