Ridgeline’s Star Freshman: Krew Jones
Krew Jones is a 2027 recruit who is an Athlete at Ridgeline High School. Jones is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Athletes in the class as well. In addition, Jones is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Utah and is listed among one of the top Athletes in the state of Utah. He currently holds offers from Washington State, BYU and Utah State.
Who are some role models in your life?
My mom. She’s going through cancer again and doesn’t complain about the pain. She shows me that you can go through hard times with a smile. My dad is my biggest fan and pushes me to work harder than I did the day before.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to Metallica and Black Sabbath and I pray for the strength of my ancestors.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’m coachable and I love contact.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Playing at AT&T Stadium in an All-American game.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Do More. Everyone practices, lifts and watches film. Go home and do more.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Hawaii. I was born on Oahu and want to go back.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing football in the fourth grade. In my second game I hit the quarterback and from then on I was hooked!
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Bo Jackson or Mike Alstott
