Prince Avenue Christian’s Star Offensive Tackle: Jake Atha

Jake Atha is a 2025 recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Prince Avenue Christian. Atha is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Atha is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the state of Georgia. He currently holds an offer from UCF.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I was inspired by many of players from the NFL growing up, just watching people like Andrew Whitworth and Andrew Thomas that play my position really inspired me.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to some George Strait before every game.

What is your offseason training like?

Really just staying in the weight room, going to camps, and working on my feet

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My first ever varsity start at home was definitely the biggest memory 

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against is my own teammate during practice, Uriah Howard, and the best player I’ve played with is Will Frost.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

It was amazing, just knowing that my hard work is getting noticed is the best feeling

What is your favorite food?

Chicken Tenders

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I kind of knew I was talented at football when my freshmen year my coach told me he wanted me to start varsity, and knowing that he trusted me to do that just let me know I was talented at the sport.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

It would probably be Hershel Walker

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Definitely when Georgia won the National Championship
