A role model in my life would be my pawpaw and my uncle.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I listen to YoungBoy, Lil Baby, old Drake, and Future. But I’ll also throw on some chill music like Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths on the field are my pass rush and my ability to get off blocks.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is from my freshman season, when I had 3 sacks in a game.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or against in your career?
I played with Jacob Bradford, a 3-star D-lineman committed to Louisiana Tech—he was as good as any 5-star. Quick, strong, fast, and also a great offensive lineman. I’ve also gone up against Kamario Taylor (Mississippi State) and Zion Brown (Stanford).
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay consistent in the gym. Don’t just lift—make sure you’re running and putting in work on the field outside of practice too.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was about 8 years old when I fell in love with the game.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Aaron Donald.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when Arizona State played Texas and Cam Skattebo almost pulled off the win for ASU.
