Pittsburg’s Star Sophomore Running Back: Elijah Bow
Elijah Bow is a 2025 recruit who plays Running Back at Pittsburg High School. Bow is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Bow is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of California.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Yeah, I was always inspired by Saquon Barkley. I just really like the way he runs the ball and can make a guy miss, it just made me want to base my game like him.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to rap, and I like to listen to hype songs by Lil Baby and other artists.
What is your offseason training like?
This offseason I really tried to get faster and more quick on my feet because I’m already big, so I just really tried to get a little faster and do more position work.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Maybe last year when I played Antioch High School. It was the first play of the game and I returned a kick 84 yards to the endzone.
What is your favorite food?
I have a lot of favorite foods, but I’d say burritos are my favorite.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
Maybe my 12U season. I’ve always been the humbled type, but my 12U year I just had that chip on my shoulder.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would have to say Bo Jackson or Barry Sanders, because they are just real beasts in the backfield and I love how they played.
