Paideia’s Star Freshman Guard: CJ Harper

CJ Harper is a 2026 recruit who is a Combo Guard at Paideia High School. Harper is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Combo Guards in the class as well. In addition, Harper is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Combo Guards in the state of Georgia. He currently holds an offer from Radford.

What is your offseason training like?

My dad’s a trainer so I’m in the gym almost everyday working out

What is your favorite memory of your career?

Last season when I was in 8th grade playing JV, going into half time I hit a full court shot.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with and am currently playing with is Caleb Holt. The best player I’ve played against is Jermel Thomas.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was really really happy because after the game the coach just came up to me and my dad and said, “ I would like to offer you to come to our school’.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is chicken Alfredo.

When did you realize you were talented at basketball?

Last year when the varsity coach at my school just kept telling me if I was playing in the varsity games we would’ve won a State Championship. Also, when I got my first offer and heard college coaches say they are interested.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet LeBron James.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When LeBron hit the game winner off of a floater vs the Raptors in the playoffs
