Jaxon Elston is a 2027 recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Oxford High School. Elston is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Elston is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Alabama and is listed among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the state of Alabama. He currently holds offers from Auburn, Sacramento State and North Alabama.
Who are some role models in your life?
My dad and my coach. They push me to be better every day.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Definitely some heavy rap like YoungBoy and Lud Foe to get me pumped.
What are the strengths of your game?
My size and strength. I can move guys off the line and protect the QB.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
When we beat Mountain Brook last season.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Going against my teammate Keenan Britt—he’s quick and strong.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Work your tail off and never stop grinding. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d love to go to Hawaii. Just chill on the beach after a long season.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
Probably around 8 or 9, when I first started playing.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Jordan Seaton. That dude is a monster on the field.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When Colorado threw a Hail Mary against Baylor.
