Our Lady Of Good Counsel’s Star Freshman Quarterback: Drew Williams
Drew Williams is a 2026 recruit who plays Quarterback at Our Lady Of Good Counsel High School. Williams is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Quarterbacks in the class as well. In addition, Williams is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Maryland and is listed among one of the top Quarterbacks in the state of Maryland.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up, I was inspired by Michael Vick because of how he made very explosive plays and how accurate his throwing was.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
One song I always listen to pregame is Dreams and Nightmares by Meek Mill.
What is your offseason training like?
My offseason training is going very well. I workout with my high school pretty much everyday of the week and I always get some type of throwing and or footwork in during the weekends.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career was when I won a National Championship with the Watkins Hornets, down in Florida during my 12U season.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Tyric Powell, Breyon Williams, Tarvis Best, Donovan Murph, Sy’eer Coleman, and Odell Teel.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is chicken.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I realized I was talented when I first started playing QB during my 8U season, but I always knew I was going to be special.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Michael Vick
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan, was when I got to go to play during a halftime show of the Washington Commanders game, which was during my 9U season.
