Malachi Barr is a 2026 recruit who is an Athlete at Our Lady Of Good Counsel High School. Barr is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Athletes in the class as well. In addition, Barr is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Maryland and is listed among one of the top Athletes in the state of Maryland.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

When I first started it was JJ Watt, but as Ii got older it became Aaron Donald.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Dreams and Nightmares- Meek Mill and The Greatest- Rod Wave

What is your offseason training like?

I’ve been working in the weight room and doing a lot of agility and conditioning 

What is your favorite memory of your career?

Winning my first National Championship with my youth team

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Kane Archer, Taariq Denson, Lavar Keys, Jordan Harrison, Tyrone Jackson, Drew Williams, Donovan Murphy, Tristan Sabb, and Breyon Willams

What is your favorite food?

Chicken: baked, fried, and grilled

When did you realize you were talented at football?

Maybe 8u, that was my breakout year and I started to get my nickname “First 48”. Then when I started going to a lot of football camps and realized football was starting to become natural and a second nature.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Aaron Donald

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Watching Super Bowl 51 when Tom Brady and the Patriots came back from 28-3 against the Falcons to win the game.
