Who are some role models in your life?
My #1 role model is my dad because he sacrifices so much every day just to give me the opportunities that I have.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I’m a man who absolutely loves music — any type of music. I usually listen to Tee Grizzley pregame, but one of my favorite hype-up songs is Killing in the Name by Rage Against the Machine.
What are the strengths of your game?
Some of the main strengths of my game are that I’m long like a tight end and have a reach advantage, but I can also move like a wide receiver — I’m like a hybrid.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career is probably when we were at team camp and things started to get heated against Crimson Cliffs (the 4A state champs). Tensions were running high, but coach threw me a fade, and I caught it right on the corner of the end zone for a touchdown — my whole team went crazy.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve played against a lot of great players, but I’ve also played with many great players such as Salesi Moa, Kaue Akana, Ryder Lyons, and Helaman Casuga.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
One piece of advice I have is that hard work pays off. Keep grinding. You don’t need to tell anybody you’ve been working — when the time is right, it will show.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would probably be Rotuma, a small island in Fiji where my grandpa is from.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would probably be Bo Jackson, just because I’m also a baseball and football player — and as we know, Bo Jackson was a multi-sport legend.
