Victor Mullen-Louisville Tight End Commit

Victor Mullen is a 3 Star recruit who plays Tight End at Marquette High School. Mullen is ranked Top 35 at his position and is a Top 25 recruit in the state of Illinois. In addition, Mullen is also listed as a Top 3 Tight End in the state as well. He is committed to play at Louisville next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I was inspired by Gronk and Walter Payton.

What high school is your biggest rival?

 Our biggest rival is Seneca High School.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

 Before a game I’ll listen to anything by chief keef, the grinch by trippie redd, and young thug.

What is your offseason training like?

Offseason training for me is pretty intense, workouts everyday and always trying to improve my game.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory of my high school career was beating my cousin last year during our second game. Now I have bragging rights with him.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I would like to transition my aggressive blocking and being able to catch the ball in traffic into the college level.

What made Louisville stand out from other schools?

Louisville just felt like home since the first day I stepped on campus. They have a great family atmosphere and offer certain things that other schools didn’t.

.What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Louisville?

On the field I would like to become a great player at Louisville and be a major part of the offense. Off the field I would like to be a role model and. A standout person of the community.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Michael Jordan, he has been able to influence a whole generation.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports memory was when the STL Cardinals won the World Series in 2011
