Riley Leonard is a 3 Star recruit who plays Quarterback at Fairhope High School. Leonard is ranked as a Top 25 Dual Threat Quarterback in the nation and is a Top 30 recruit in the state of Alabama. In addition, Leonard is listed as the #2 Quarterback in the state of Alabama. Riley Leonard is committed to play at Duke next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Brett Favre. He was a real down to earth guy who was one of the greatest competitors to ever play.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Daphne High School

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Anything. Sam Cook, Bob Marley, & Guns & Roses are my favorites

What is your offseason training like?

 Because I play basketball it’s hard but I train at QB Country with the best coach in the country David Morris.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

Hasn’t happened yet but winning 2 state championships

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

Hopefully I will still be able to have a little bit of my run game.

What made Duke stand out from other schools?

The Education and coach Cut

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Duke?

Off the field I would like to impact everyone I meet in a positive way, with my platform I think being a great role model and friend to everyone I meet will go a long way. On the field I hope to win a Championship.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Probably Pat Tillman, he made a sacrifice no one else had ever done.

Always love watching the USA win the Olympics
