Who are some role models in your life?
I’d say my biggest role models are definitely my brothers, both of them made it D1 out of high school so I feel like I have to live up to the name. To see them succeed in Division 1 sports really showed me that if I learn from them and just put in the work that I can get there one day.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Lil Baby, NLE Choppa, and NBA YoungBoy
What are the strengths of your game?
I would say I can play any skill position, whether it’d be Wide Receiver, Running Back, or Safety. When it comes to my game I’d say I’m pretty versatile. During last season, I started off as a Receiver and returned kicks and punts. When our Running Back got hurt late into the season I had to fill in and I thought I did pretty well.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Definitely getting to play with my brother during his senior year, I had always wanted to play with him growing up and finally getting the chance was awesome. He taught me so much about the game that I’ll use throughout my career.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I couldn’t really choose, but it’s between Tucker Holloway, Darren Agu, Marlin Klein, Aidan Semo, or my brother Coleman Bryson. I played with them all my freshman year and it was so cool getting to see them go out and make plays. I was blessed to have them teach me about football.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Just stay humble and work hard, but especially surrounding yourself with people who care about you and want you to succeed, because you need people to push you and hold you accountable.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?.
I’ve always wanted to go to a tropical island like Hawaii or somewhere like Bora Bora, it would be cool to see what’s out there and just getting out of the U.S. would be nice.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve been playing football since I could walk. I was really born into sports and especially loved football the most ever since I started.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one person now I would definitely say my dad. I didn’t really know him growing up, he passed when I was young so I never got to meet him. I feel like there is so much he could teach me, not just about the game but life in general.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite moment was getting to watch my brother get a pick 6 in the Pinstripe Bowl in New York, and then also go and win the MVP. It was so cool to see him succeed at such a high level.
