Garrett DiGorgio is a 3 Star recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Serrano High School. DiGorgio is ranked as the #51 Offensive Tackle in the nation and is the #61 recruit in the state of California. In addition, DiGorgio is listed as the #3 Offensive Tackle in the state of California. Garrett DiGorgio is committed to play at UCLA next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

 Growing up I used to watch a lot of college ball with my family! Michigan was the school that my mom went to so those athletes were my inspiration! Desmond Howard was a big inspiration as a kid I even have one of his signed jerseys!

What high school is your biggest rival?

Our biggest high school rival is Oak Hills High School

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

 I listen to a lot of different things mostly rap and hip hop just to get hyped up!

What is your offseason training like?

Half my offseason during a regular year would consist of playing basketball. After that a lot of lifting and conditioning with some technique work as well!

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory of high school is going to CIF semis both my sophomore and junior year! Being able to go places with my brothers was awesome!

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I hope to transition a lot of my game to college I know that I will have a lot to improve on and get better. I always have room for improvement.

What made UCLA stand out from other schools?

UCLA stood out from the other schools because of the coaching staff, how close it is to home, and I grew up watching and going to games! It just felt like the right choice for me!

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at UCLA?

 I want to not only strive in football but also in the classroom. I want to get my degree and hopefully win a few bowl games with my time at UCLA!

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

 If I could meet one sports hero it would be Shaquille Oneal for I would love to learn from him! How to be that big and move so well! Things like that, I would love to also meet Mitchell Schwartz on the Kanas City Chiefs for he did a very good job last season In the Super Bowl!

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moments was just watching ball with my family as a kid! I think that was really what influenced me to play football. Also the last night was awesome for the Lakers glad I got to watch that as well!
