Zachary Siskowic is a 3 Star recruit who plays Quarterback at Crespi Carmelite High School. Siskowic is ranked as a Top 25 Dual Threat Quarterback in the Class of 2022 and is a Top 100 recruit in the state of California. In addition, Siskowic is listed as the #3 Dual Threat Quarterback in the state of California. He currently has offers to William & Mary and UT Martin.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up, I was inspired by NFL players such as Aaron Rodgers Peyton Manning, and Kurt Warner.

What high school is your biggest rival?

 For me, my biggest rival is Notre Dame High School. I used to go there, but I transferred to Crespi about a year ago and both schools have been rivals for a long time.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I used to listen to more hype pregame music like Lil Baby, Gunna, and artists like that. But since high school I’ve been listening to more music that calms me down and relaxes me before games so I can fully focus on the task at hand, which is to win the football game.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason training has consisted of getting bigger, stronger, and faster. I’ve gained about 20 pounds since last season and I’ve gotten a lot quicker and explosive. I train with Akil Bordelon, Obed Hernandez, and Khaleel Jenkins who are part of Jamal Liggin Training. I’ve also thrown with my QB coach Sam Fisher and increased my accuracy and pocket mobility.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?

My favorite memory of my high school career would have to be my first varsity start. It was against Moorpark last year, my Sophmore year, and I threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for 1. It was fun to show what I was capable of at an early stage in the season.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your high school career?

The best player I’ve ever played with in my high school career is probably Damien Moore from Bishop Amat. He was an absolute force against us and would not go down easily by any means.

What do you look for in choosing a college?

 In choosing a college, I’m looking for a place that I feel comfortable calling a second home. I want to go to a place that has high academic standards as well as high athletic ones. I would also like to go to a place where I can have a fair shot at competing for playing time.

When did you start looking at colleges, and when did colleges start looking at you?

I’ve always looked at colleges and tried to see what they have to offer both academically and athletically. Colleges started looking at me my freshman year. I received two offers as a freshman. They were from The College of William and Mary and the University of Tennessee-Martin.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

 If I could meet one sports hero, it would have to be Tom Brady. I would love to pick his brain and just soak up as much knowledge as I possibly could from him. I would also want to see how he handled himself throughout his process of being overlooked and how he was able to stay motivated throughout it all.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan was watching the Cleveland Cavaliers win their first championship. I’m a huge Cleveland fan and it was a special sight to see one of our teams finally win a championship.
