Marquez Wimberly is a 2026 recruit who plays Running Back at Parkland High School. Wimberly is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Wimberly is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Pennsylvania and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of Pennsylvania.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up being an Eagles fan I have to say LeSean McCoy.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Pregame I listen to Dreams and nightmares by Meek Mill, Headlines by Drake, and last but certainly not least All falls down by Kanye West. He is my favorite artist.

What is your offseason training like?

I do offseason workouts in the gym 5 times a week. 2 heavy lifting days and 2 speed days. The last day is stretching and getting loose.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career is when I was playing flag football. I couldn’t have been older than like 6 or 7. My team got to play on the Eagles field. One of the best moments of my life.

How old were you when you started playing football?

I started playing football when I was five. I always watched it on tv and I wanted to see how I would do.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is definitely breakfast foods. I could eat it all day. You could find me at a diner anytime.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I realized I was talented at football my sixth grade year. Up until then football was just a hobby. Then I realized that I could really go far in the sport. Ever since then, I never looked back.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

One sport hero I wish I could meet is a tie between Prime Time and Bo Jackson. I want to meet coach Prime because I love his energy and his personality. I want to meet Bo Jackson because his film is the reason I wanted to be a Running Back. He’s the reason I wear 34.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My greatest sports moment of a fan is going to the Eagles game on Christmas night versus the Seattle Seahawks. I remember it was so cold I was freezing, but I was having the time of my life.
