Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
I was inspired by players like Rob Gronkowski and TJ Watt. They play hard and have fun doing it.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to guys like Rage Against the Machine before every game. They probably get me ready more than anyone.
What is your offseason training like?
Offseason training for me is pretty intense. I lift a lot and go to a couple different trainers. I train with Coach Chavar out of Cary, NC and he seriously pushes me. I train every single day.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Playing in the Freshman All American game was amazing. The competition was great and I was able to meet some really great people.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I played with a guy named Gavin Nix at the Freshman All American game and he was so much fun to play with. He’s going to be a stud over the next few years.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
Getting my first offer was so crazy. I was nervous and excited, and it took a few days before it really all sank in.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is pizza. I have always been able to eat a lot of pizza. I feel bad because my parents have to buy so much every time they order.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I started catching for guys that played in college when I was in the 8th grade. A college coach saw me and said they were going to start recruiting me. I had a pretty good idea right then.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would like to meet TJ Watt. I’ve watched his game for so long and see how great of a teammate he is. I would love to get some tips from him.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
Probably watching Georgia win the National Championship just a few days after they offered. It was such a great game and it was cool to watch a team that had just offered me win like that.
