Growing up I was inspired by Russel Wilsons story and him being overlooked because of his physical size and attributes, but his style of play and mental sharpness has allowed him to have a sustained and very successful career, despite all of the critics which is inspiring, showing me I can create and any future I want when I believe in myself.

What is your offseason training like?

I train with my quarterback coach Tony Racioppi. He is truly a wiz when it comes to understanding football from a mental aspect and he irons out any issues I have with my technique or skills that need improvement. On my own I rep the fundamentals he teaches me because at my position, mastery of the fundamentals are essential to success. I also work on speed consistently. Strength wise I work with my schools strength and conditioning coach. Coach Akauola at Hun. He develops my strength I need for the position for me to sustain hits and still compete at an optimal level.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your high school career?

There is a ton of players that I’ve loved playing with. Mason Shipp, Owen Anderson and Lucas Kopecky, all were guys I could count on to make a play when we needed it. But my offensive lines throughout my career are the reason I have achieved the success I’ve had. They protect me and allow me to do what I do best. The best player I’ve played against was chad martini. A Quarterback who always scores when he is in. You need to keep scoring when your in on offense otherwise it will be a blow out. He knows how to move the ball down the field and score.
