Jason Llewellyn is a 3 Star recruit who plays Tight End at Aledo High School. Llewellyn is ranked as the 524th best recruit in the nation and is ranked as a Top 30 Tight End in the nation as well. In addition, Llewellyn is listed as a Top 80 recruit in the state of Texas and is listed as the #6 Tight End in the state of Texas. Jason Llewellyn is committed to play at Oklahoma next fall.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
I’ve lived in Texas my whole life so I have always been a Cowboys fan and I’ve grown up watching Jason Witten’s game.
What high school is your biggest rival?
I think our biggest rival is Weatherford, but for basketball is is Brewer.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Usually it’s just whoever is on aux but it’s usually Rap.
What is your offseason training like?
Our off-season is brutal and we run track in the mornings and lift and then we come back and lift after school. A lot of people will quit.
What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?
My favorite memory would be winning the State Championship in 2019 because that was a dream of mine since I was little and it finally came true but then we won this year as well in 2020.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have ever played with would probably be Jojo Earle or Jase McClellan.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food would probably be Chinese food.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I think I have always thought of myself as pretty good but it wasn’t until this last year that I started to dominate and realized how decent I actually was.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Definitely Kobe Bryant
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan would be watching the Broncos beat the Panthers in the Super Bowl.
