One Of The Many Young Stars At Cass Tech: Cashus Shivers

Cashus Shivers is a 2025 recruit who is an Athlete at Cass Technical High School. Shivers is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Athletes in the class as well. In addition, Shivers is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Michigan and is listed among one of the top Athletes in the state of Michigan. His top offers are, Pitt, Kentucky, and Louisville.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up I’ve always had my eyes on either Ray Lewis or Megatron. They both were part of the reason I wanted to start playiny and they were just the ones I looked up to as people as well as football players.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

“Holy” by Youngboy never broke again, “Smile” by Rod Wave, and “blam boom” by Nardo Wick. I could listen to those 3 and be ready to take on the world.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason mostly consists of weight lifting, track, basketball, and just staying conditioned in general. We always try to get field work in when we can so I’d say its been a very busy offseason.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory I think is playing at Ford Field in 2019. My team ended up losing but just being in that spotlight and on that field is something I will never forget.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

In my opinion there has been a lot of great athletes I have come across. Guys like Shenard Foster, Kevin Simes, Bryce Underwood, and now Alex Graham, so the competition in Michigan is always there.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

My reaction I would say was kind of dull because most people would be excited and just smiling left and right, when I just had a straight face on and just thanked the coach a lot because it was really a dream come true.

What is your favorite food?

All my life my mind has been set on Lasagna. That’s my #1, I could eat Lasagna everyday for the rest of my life.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

 I realized I was talented in my last year of little league football and that I could really take this far and actually make a better life for myself. Before that people always told me I was good but I just never had the confidence in myself or the mentality that I was good.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Ray Lewis

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

As a fan I would definitely say going to my first college football game, the type of experience I got was amazing and me just seeing myself on that field one day was awesome.
