Southridge’s Star Outside Linebacker: Jalan Toomer

Jalan Toomer is a 2023 recruit who plays Outside Linebacker at Southridge High School. Toomer is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Outside Linebackers in the nation as well. In addition, Toomer is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Outside Linebackers in the state of Florida. He currently holds offers from Florida Atlantic and St. Thomas.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I was inspired by Jabril Peppers and Cam Chancellor.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

FCG Heem or Youngboy

What is your offseason training like?

For my offseason training I will be getting bigger, faster, and working more on my craft.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

Last year’s spring game when I had like 8 tackles, 1 int, and 50 some yards

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against is Jalen Brown and the best players I’ve played with are Glenn, J Reid, and Cam.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was dumb happy, it was a game day too so I was just turnt

Burgers, chicken, and fries

My 8th grade year
