Bowen Hardman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and plays Shooting Guard at Princeton High School. Hardman is ranked Top 20 at his position and is a Top 5 recruit in the state of Ohio. Hardman is alos listed as a Top 3 Shooting Guard in the state as well. He is committed to play at Ohio State next fall.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?
I really liked watching old clips of Larry Bird but also I watch Kevin Durant more than anybody in this generation now.
What high school is your biggest rival?
Lakota East
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to a lot of Logic and Pop Smoke before games.
What is your offseason training like?
My offseason is crazy. Being in the gym for 5 or 6 hours at one time just trying to get stronger and work on parts of my game that need to be worked on.
What is your favorite memory of your high school career?
Probably starting my first game as a freshman because that’s when I new it was go time and a time to start my career.
What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?
Definitely my offense ability by creating space and driving but also being not just a good defender but translate it to being a great defender.
What made Ohio State stand out from other schools?
It was just perfect. Coach Holtman and everyone on that staff had the family feel that I was just looking for in a college. But also the style of play and everything about the campus and the atmosphere around it.
What do you want to accomplish on and off the court during your time at Ohio State?
Definitely a national championship and to be the best team in the nation with my fellow teammates.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Michael Jordan
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When Aaron Craft hit the game winner against Iowa State in the tournament.
