Layton Von Brandt is a 2027 recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Appoquinimink High School. Von Brandt is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Von Brandt is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Delaware and is listed among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the state of Delaware. He holds offers from schools such as Georgia, Penn State and Syracuse.

Who are some role models in your life?

My role model is my dad, the way he handles business and is always trying to be better at everything he does inspires me.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I like to stay relaxed and calm so I listen to artists like SZA, Rod Wave and Drake.

What are the strengths of your game?

My strengths are my length, knowledge and physicality.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory would have to be beating our cross town rivals for the first time in school history my freshman year.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

One of the best players l’ve ever had to face would probably be Old Dominion commit Ahmad Foster.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Just stay humble and stay in the books.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was 3 years old.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Jason Kelce, he is just a great person and i would love to just sit down and talk ball with him.
