Cynai Thomas is a 2026 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Archbishop Riordan High School. Thomas is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Thomas is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of California. He currently holds offers from Oregon State, UNLV, and San Jose State.
Who are some role models in your life?
My role models in my life are my brothers Darius and Skyler Thomas.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
The artist I listen to before games is Rod Wave. I like to be calm instead of really hyped up.
What are the strengths of your game?
The strengths of my game are definitely the deep ball and being able to be a playmaker.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career is definitely winning the RVC natty.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against is the Cornerback from El Cerrito High School, Kamani Jackson.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give to a younger kid who wants to go D1 is it’s not going to be easy. Bust your tail and don’t get caught up in the fame, remember you play football for the love of the game.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Oregon to see my brother.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 7 years old when I fell in love with the game of football. I watched my brothers play growing up, and I saw that sparkle in their eyes when they had the ball in their hands. From there, I loved it and never looked back.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’ve already met mine and he gets on me every day, my brother Darius Thomas.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was definitely watching Oregon State comeback and beat Oregon. I got to watch my bro make some good tackles that game.
