Bryce Queen is a 2025 recruit who plays Punter at Oconee County High School. Queen is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Punters in the class as well. In addition, Queen is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Punters in the state of Georgia.
Who are some role models in your life?
My mom and dad for supporting me in sports. I played soccer for over 10 years and then swapped full-time to being a kicker and punter for Oconee County High School Warriors Football. My Soccer Coaches in Texas, my kicking/punting instructor, Coach Marc Nolan, and my Oconee County Warriors Football Coaches. They all have pushed me out of my comfort zone to be a better player.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Baby Keem, Metro Boomin, and Metallica
What are the strengths of your game?
As a former soccer keeper, I learned to not let a bad save ruin the rest of my game. Other than having a strong leg, I am able to clear my mind before every punt, extra point, and field goal.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
A 53 yard punt downed on the 1 yard line against Apalachee High School and the game winning kick (with no time on the clock) at the 2022 National Underclassmen Combine All American Game in Savannah, GA.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Whit Weeks who will be at LSU this year is a beast!
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Be a great teammate, train hard, and build relationships with the coaches you want to play for in college.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Monza, Italy to see an F1 race
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 6 years old when my dad took me to see Ohio State play at the Horseshoe.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Patrick Mahomes
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
Going to the Rose Bowl to watch Ohio State play Washington.
