Northwest’s Next Star Quarterback: Stephen Gyermeh
Stephen Gyermeh is a 2027 recruit who plays Quarterback at Northwest High School. Gyermeh is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Quarterbacks in the class as well. In addition, Gyermeh is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Maryland and is listed among one of the top Quarterbacks in the state of Maryland. He currently holds an offer from Louisville.
Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role models are Jesus Christ, God and my dad.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to Pop Smoke and Cochise pregame.
What are the strengths of your game?
My biggest strengths are my football IQ, accuracy, and leadership skills.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career was receiving my medal with my 7th grade FBU team for finishing 3rd in the country.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is probably James Branch.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
There is no substitute for hard work and discipline. You need to be willing to work consistently because consistency builds greatness.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could visit anywhere in the world, I would visit Hawaii.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game when I was 8 years old.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, I’d meet Aaron Rodgers.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when my favorite team, the Carolina Panthers won the NFC championship game.
