North Shore’s Star Sophomore Defensive End: Ezarian Fields
Ezarian Fields is a 2029 recruit who plays Defensive End at North Shore High School. Fields is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2029 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Fields is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Defensive Ends in the state of Texas. He holds offers from schools such as Ohio State, LSU and Texas.
Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life right now are my dad, my older brother, my position coach, Jared Verse, and one of my teammates, Lynell Hunter.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
Artists I listen to before games are Young Thug and Lil Baby mainly.
What are the strengths of your game?
One of my main strengths is getting off the ball fast, which doesn’t allow any linemen to touch me on a pass rush.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory has come from a freshman-level game where I got a sack and made the QB fumble, where my teammate Damar Crosby picked it up for a touchdown.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve played against are Abdus Kone and Chase Brown.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I can give is to be patient. God has His time for everyone, so you never know when God will bless you. Stay patient and hungry, and when you get that offer, don’t let up. Keep grinding.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, it would be to Italy just to indulge in the culture and food around me.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around 7 or 8 when I started playing football. I was more of a basketball player because I grew up watching my uncle play basketball. Then my brother started playing football, and I fell in love with the sport.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet any sports hero, I would want to meet Michael Strahan. I love his attitude when it comes to things.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When the Giants played the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The Giants’ pass rush collapsing Tom Brady in the pocket before the awesome Helmet Catch play kept the drive alive.
