Who are some role models in your life?
My role models are my dad—who’s a retired Army veteran and the reason I first picked up a football—and my mom, who’s always shown me love and support. I also look up to my grandfather, my little league coach, Coach Enrique Steele, and Colombus Givens. Each of them has helped shape me into who I am today. They taught me to stay humble but be a dog—on the field and in the classroom.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
When I was 11, I played for CG3 7v7. The other team doubled me the entire game. On the final drive, we were down two, and the coaches told me, “It’s coming to you—go get it.” I caught the game-winner with one hand, over everyone, with no time left on the clock. That’s a moment I’ll never forget.
Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
It’s a toss-up between Legend Bey and Ryan “Duece” Gilbert. Ryan plays corner, and every time we line up, it’s a battle. He pushes me to be better every rep—it’s a true dogfight.
What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Reach for the stars. Control what you can control. Keep the main thing the main thing, and stay locked in on your academics. The grind isn’t just physical—it’s mental too.
