Cannon is ranked as a Top 90 recruit in the state of North Carolina and is ranked as one of the Top 10 Athletes in the state of North Carolina as well. Jonathan Cannon is committed to play at North Carolina A&T next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up I was inspired by my dad and Julius Peppers.

In Control by YoungBoy or Bankroll by Lil Boosie

What is your offseason training like?

Lift everyday throughout the week and hit the field for drills on weekends.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite from high school career is playing Richmond county in the semifinals.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I hope to my explosiveness and strength carry over to the collegiate level.

What made North Carolina A&T stand out from other schools?

It felt like home and I definitely feel like they can help me grow as a player and as a man.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at North Carolina A&T?

I want to win a Natty and perform at my highest level on and off the field.
