Norland’s Star Freshman: Jayden Dean

Jayden Dean is a 2027 recruit who plays Center at Norland High School. Dean is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Centers in the class as well. In addition, Dean is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Centers in the state of Florida. He holds offers from schools such as Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Colorado.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life are my mom, my dad, Jason Kelce and Trent Williams.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Some artists I listen to before games to get me hyped up are G Herbo, NBA YoungBoy and NoCap.

What are the strengths of your game?

One of my biggest strengths is my ability to play multiple positions on the field.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory my very first snap playing for Miami Norland. I had a drive block and took the defensive tackle from Lakeland 15 yards up the field

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is either Auburn commit Dimitry Nicolas or FIU commit Germaine Carter.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Keep grinding, stay patient and take care of business in the classroom.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Hawaii.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was about 6 years old when I fell in love with the game of football.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Trent Williams. I love his game and the way he dominates upfront.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan, was watching the Kelce brothers play against each other in the Super Bowl.
