Quincy Butts Jr is a 2025 recruit who plays Linebacker at New Hope High School. Butts Jr is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Butts Jr is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Mississippi and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Mississippi.

Who are some role models in your life?

My dad is one of the role models in my life because he shows me what a man is supposed to be.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I don’t listen to music before the games, I find a quiet place by myself to focus. Being hype is a part of my personality, i don’t need music to put me in that place.

What are the strengths of your game?

My strength right now is zone coverage.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career goes back to pee wee football. We came back from being down 14-0 in the championship, and I played defensive end and had 3 sacks.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with is Tristan Jernigan, a linebacker out of Mississippi.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Grinding is not only field work, but work on your character too.

I fell in love with the game the first time I watched it.
