Mission Viejo’s Star Receiver: Jackson Holman

Jackson Holman is a 3 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Mission Viejo High School. Holman is ranked among the top 1000 recruits in the nation and is ranked among the top 150 Wide Receivers in the nation as well. In addition, Holman is listed as a top 80 recruit in the state of California and is listed as a top 20 Wide Receiver in the state of California. Jackson Holman is committed to play at Arizona next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

One NFL player I was inspired by growing up was my dad. He played two seasons in the NFL and growing up I always wanted to achieve that.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

One specific song I listen to pregame is Meek Mill Dreams and Nightmares.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason training consists of track, lifting, and speed training with my speed coach.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career is beating San Clemente last season 45-0.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was really relieved and glad to finally have gotten an offer after working as hard as I have.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is Mexican. I’d have to say burritos.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I would say the summer going into junior year, around this time last year, I felt pretty good and confident with my abilities.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet Usain Bolt. He’s just a raw athlete.
