McEachern’s Star Sophomore Running Back: Ty Nolan
Ty Nolan is a 2029 recruit who plays Running Back at McEachern High School. During his freshman campaign, Nolan rushed for nearly 500 yards and 10 touchdowns en route to helping his squad reach double digit wins and remain one of the top teams in the state of Georgia. It comes as no surprise that Nolan is already raking in offers from the likes of Ohio State, Notre Dame and Texas
Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life are Sean Taylor, Kewan Lacy, and Derrick Henry! I want to be great players like those three one day, on and off the field.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
Artists I listen to to get me hyped up are Lil Baby, Lil Corey, and Lil Deko.
What are the strengths of your game?
The strengths of my game are that I’m a versatile running back, and I can play any position on the field when my team needs me to.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career is when I got my first three offers in my first spring game of my 9th-grade year.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with in my career is Jacorey Shockley. He is consistent every day.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give to an aspiring D1 athlete is that the work that you put in when nobody is watching counts the most.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be Africa.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan is when Ryan Williams played Georgia his freshman year and made that game-changing play with the game on the line.
