Mansfield Summit’s Star Junior: Cameron Hall

Cameron Hall is a 3 Star recruit who plays Defensive End at Mansfield Summit High School. Hall is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 40 Defensive End in the class as well. In addition, Hall is listed as a top 50 recruit in the state of Texas and is listed as the #5 Defensive End in the state of Texas. He holds offers from schools such as Texas, Texas A&M and Ole Miss.

Who are some role models in your life?
My role models are my mom and dad because they’re always willing to help me with my high school career.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I listen to Lil Baby and a little bit of Kendrick Lamar before games to get locked in.

What are the strengths of your game?
My biggest strengths are my length and football IQ. I see the field well and know how to use my frame to my advantage.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory so far is when we beat Mansfield Timberview. That was a huge moment for me and the team.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is Travis Buhake, who’s committed to Houston. He’s a beast on the field.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep working and don’t stop just because you think you’ve made it. There’s always another level—keep pushing until you reach it.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere, I’d go to Hawaii. It seems like a beautiful and relaxing place.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game at a young age—around 6 or 7 years old.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Collin Simmons. I love his style of play and the mindset he brings to the field.
