Caleb Unger is a 2027 recruit who plays Interior Offensive Line at Madison-Ridgeland Academy. Unger is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Interior Offensive Linemen in the class as well. In addition, Unger is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Mississippi and is listed among one of the top Interior Offensive Linemen in the state of Mississippi. He holds offers from schools such as Baylor, Mississippi State and Colorado.
Who are some role models in your life?
My role models have been most of my coaches throughout my life playing football. They taught me how to be more of a man.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to Lil Baby, Bossman Dlow, and others.
What are the strengths of your game?
Some of my strengths would be my motor, strength, and athleticism.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is when we played Oak Grove. We lost, but the game was so intense.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against is probably 4 DL Andrew Maddox.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give to someone who wants to go D1 is to work hard and stay humble.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, I’d want to go to Italy.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around 11 or 12 when I fell in love with the game.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet a sports hero, I would want to meet Trent Williams.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when Odell Beckham caught that one-handed catch.
