Advice to an aspiring D1 athlete would be to find a trainer who has had athletes go D1 and train hard with them. If you can’t get a trainer then set goals and train by yourself and when you’re lifting weights or running you have to go 100% every time to see big results. Also get good grades and have a great character, coaches don’t want to worry about their players off the field.
