Lehi’s Star Lineman: Toby Mealer

Toby Mealer is a 3 Star recruit who plays Interior Offensive Line at Lehi High School. Mealer is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked as a top 100 Interior Offensive Lineman in the nation as well. In addition, Mealer is listed as a top 15 recruit in the state of Utah and is listed as the #4 Interior Offensive Lineman in the state of Utah. He holds offers from schools such as Arizona, NC State and Arizona State.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some of my role models in life are my mother and father.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Pregame I listen to rock music like AC/DC.

What are the strengths of your game?

I think one of the biggest strengths of my game is my pass pro.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career is last year when we won against Chandler with a last second field goal.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against is Jeremiah Young from Chandler.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Never give up no matter what.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere In the world I would travel back to Oregon to visit all my family.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I think I was around the age of 10 when I fell in love with the game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet any player I would want to meet Joe Thomas.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When the Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl.
