LC Bird’s Star Sophomore: Chris Whitehead

Chris Whitehead is a 2027 recruit who plays Defensive End at LC Bird High School. Whitehead is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Whitehead is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Virginia and is listed among one of the top Defensive Ends in the state of Virginia. He holds offers from schools such as Penn State, Florida State and Syracuse.

Who are some role models in your life?

I’d say my role models are my dad and my mom.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to NBA YoungBoy, Young Threat and Nino Paid.

What are the strengths of your game?

The strengths of my game are being able to read the offense and maintaining the outside as a defensive end.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was when we played Powatan and I sacked the quarterback and caused a near pick six.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

One of the best players I have played with is 2027 Oklahoma commit Zane Rowe.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere it would definitely be to Dubai.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was 5 years old when I fell in love with the game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

One sports hero I would love to meet is Vernon Davis.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment has to be watching the NBA Finals between the Warriors and the Cavaliers.
